St.Andrew's CentreThe Centre with coffee shop lies at the heart of the community and is here to serve the local people. |
Opened in 1999, the St Andrew's Centre and coffee shop forms a focal point for the community at Dibden Purlieu. The centre is a testimony to God's faithfulness, with £292,000 being raised towards the building project at a single Easter service.
The modern facilities include a 150-seat hall, a comfortable lounge, a large kitchen, and several other rooms. These are used widely by the church for activities such as the créche, children's and youth work, social events, and Alpha courses.
The rooms are also used extensively by the community - for regular events ranging from table tennis and dance through to toddler and parent groups, woodcarving and lace making.
The Centre meets the dual purpose that was envisaged from the beginning: to serve both the members of St Andrew's and also the wider population of Dibden Purlieu. Bookings for the centre can be made via the Parish Office .
