St Andrew's and All Saints' - at the heart of the community

Funerals

Jesus Christ said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though they die, shall live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die."

Who is eligible for a funeral service by the church?

Everyone in the church parish of Dibden has the right to a funeral service in one of the church buildings - either All Saints', Dibden, or St Andrew's, Dibden Purlieu - and burial in All Saints' Churchyard, while there is still room. Alternatively, a funeral service can be held at a Crematorium and the ashes interred at the Churchyard at a later date.

What will the service be like?

We are very flexible about the approaches used. If possible, make plans and discuss them with one of the clergy in advance (not to be morbid, just prudent). Otherwise, contact the church via a local undertaker, who will help you to make all the practical arrangements. One of the clergy will always be ready to meet the deceased's family to explain everything and to help you choose what is best for your family.
